Filming Recap + Additional Planning

Yesterday was our second day of filming. We all met up at Hillery's house from 2-4 PM and wrapped up the scenes that needed to be shot there. We had a lot of fun together and got a lot more done than we even expected to. Every scene that takes place in the vacation home is done, so now we just have to film at the grocery store, guard house, and testing site. We used iPhones to film everything last time and we will most likely use them to wrap the rest of our filming. It's only a day later and we are already talking in our group chat about when we will be available next to film. School starts again for us on Monday, January 4, 2021. Once school is back in the mix scheduling will become even harder than it has been during the break unfortunately. I have hope however, that we will conclude all of our filming within the next two weeks or so. For the grocery store scene we are thinking of going to a grocery store that isn't normally very crowded as opposed to the more popular ones. We figure there will be enough people there to act as extras, but not so many that we would be disturbing others by filming. The testing site is something we will have to figure out once we get there. Technically, Blake's character is the only one who gets tested, so a lot of that discussion will be up to him and what he is or isn't willing to do. The scene at the guard house will be quite simple to film since the location is right by Chloe's house. The person playing the guard, Herb, will be Spencer Regli and we are all confident that he will do a great job with the part. We will most likely begin planning our filming days once the new year starts. I think the most tricky thing is gonna be the testing site and however we are going to film that. Regardless of what it takes we'll figure it out, even if we have to do our own fake testing. Update coming soon! Happy holidays!!

The full length feature of 9 was quite intense and followed a well-developed storyline filled with action and mystery. The movie centered around a post-apocalyptic world and featured small figurines sculpted by a doctor. The figurines fought for their lives throughout and one in particular, 9, fought to find out why things were happening the way that they were. There were a lot of things done by the director that contributed to the effects of the film. The audience was able to meet and get to know the characters on a very personal level. This developed each of the characters farther in terms of opinion and helped to justify any of their actions if necessary. Marketing and Social Media

 Last week, my group and I worked together to create social media accounts for our film. We made each of the usernames some variation of the movie title and then included the word "film" in order to establish that the account is for a movie rather than an individual person. We created accounts on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube. In order to do this we also created an email for our film that each account is linked to. We are all logged into each account and are monitoring their activity closely. Below you can see the logo we have designed and decided to use as profile pictures for the time being. We are discussing as a group the different content we plan to post. In addition to all of the social media platforms we have also created a website that is linked in each of our account profiles.
