9, The Feature Film

The full length feature of 9 was quite intense and followed a well-developed storyline filled with action and mystery. The movie centered around a post-apocalyptic world and featured small figurines sculpted by a doctor. The figurines fought for their lives throughout and one in particular, 9, fought to find out why things were happening the way that they were. There were a lot of things done by the director that contributed to the effects of the film. The audience was able to meet and get to know the characters on a very personal level. This developed each of the characters farther in terms of opinion and helped to justify any of their actions if necessary. The immense character development made the multiple death scenes especially hard to endure. While watching the film, I noticed a few different things that I liked. Marketing and Social Media

 Last week, my group and I worked together to create social media accounts for our film. We made each of the usernames some variation of the movie title and then included the word "film" in order to establish that the account is for a movie rather than an individual person. We created accounts on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube. In order to do this we also created an email for our film that each account is linked to. We are all logged into each account and are monitoring their activity closely. Below you can see the logo we have designed and decided to use as profile pictures for the time being. We are discussing as a group the different content we plan to post. In addition to all of the social media platforms we have also created a website that is linked in each of our account profiles.
